Resonance, reflection - a wave across the space (2021)
Movement, electroacoustic sound composition, performance.
The performer is the composer is the mover.
This transdisciplinary research led in the context of my MFA project thrives on an ambiguity where ‘both’ is also ‘neither’; sound and movement practices address and undo the idea of limit and distinction between disciplines, and therefore, in performance art.
This places the creative self in an unspoken territory which demands to be listened to as much as it is being watched.
In the darkness of intuition, that is shifting grounds, blurry lines, diffuse sounds, elusive traces, and the suggestion of an ‘in-between’ that flickers and reverses.
'Resonance, reflection – a wave across the space’ is a transdisciplinary study that grew from the intuition that ‘something’ resides between sound and movement, beyond the boundaries of disciplines, the tyranny of tangibility, and the fixation of identities.

RESONANCE, REFLECTION - A WAVE ACROSS THE SPACE
Le Baiser de l'Anémone (2020)
Multimedia, creative writing, body, sound, shadows.
Created within COVID isolation, this blog hosts texts and audio/visual material which sets out the founding sense of a quiet opposition between staying with the self, insulated, and staying with the resisting other that emerges.
It encompasses pre-existing concerns for subtle shifts in presence, consciousness and inner streams, together with a personal practice of song writing, auditory composition and soundscaping – all intricately tied to a contemplative perspective of the creative self.
Taken to both a literal and metaphorical sense, this suggests multiple takes on mirror games and reflections.

COLAB
In her project Positive Futures, fashion designer, thinker and friend Diane Wallinger puts arts, fashion and the collectivity at the service of a better-thought future.
I was invited to compose the music and perform for Positive Performance, a public invitation to question oneself optimistically through dance, partnership and sound; 'a colourful, fluid incarnation of positiving' (Diane Wallinger).
It featured in her project's culminative exhibition, held at the London College of Fashion, London, Feb 2020.

Cultural Development
Tango @ Fondation Fiminco's FASTIVAL 2026
Beginning as an internship within International Development, my collaboration with Fondation Fiminco resulted in a freelance mission dedicated to the development and launching of their cultural district inauguration festival, in June 2026.
I was trusted with the creation of a unique and unprecedented tango event on this occasion, bringing to life this incredible site with a variety of collaborations I was trusted to build.
