About
Beyond the boundaries of disciplines,
the tyranny of tangibility,
As a developping and versatile artist, I have the particularity to have continuously pursued both artistic educations of music and dance, which shaped a growing understanding of those disciplines as closely intertwined.
As a classical pianist, composer and dancer, I dedicated my latest years of research to the development of a transdisciplinary practice, working simultaneously with experimental sound composition and movement in the crafting of my work.
I indulge in various artistic practices such as songwriting, experimental composition, writing, dance, movement.
Sonically engaging, continuously in-between
In my performance work, I put my artistry to use to create, reflect, suggest a space that resides in-between sound and movement, which demands to be listened to as much as it is being watched. I rely on philosophical and phenomenological prompts, convictions, and more often perhaps, intuitions.
I hold a Bachelor of Music with Honours from City, University of London (2019), where I pushed my training in classical piano performance with renowned pianist Richard Uttley, and cultivated my interest for experimental electroacoustic music composition under the fascinating supervision of Drs. Newton Armstrong and Tullis Rennie.
I graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with a Master of Fine Arts in Transdisciplinary Creative Practice in 2021, where I further developped my artistic conceptions through the research project 'Resonance, reflection - a wave across the space', under the combined supervision of dance artist Tina Krasevec and musician David Leahy.
